Clarification on Exams - Part B
April 1st, 2006 under Assessment. [ Comments: none ]

We have had some questions about ICA exams and would like to take a minute to clarify.

In Part B of your exams, you can write about either a post on the discussion board or something said in class. We recognize that each person has their own learning style and we want you to make the most out of what works for you! If you are active on the discussion board, you may want to draw from postings for Part B of the exams. Similarly, you can take active notes during teleclasses and refer to what you or your colleagues say in class for this section of the exam.

When to take the Business Building Course
April 1st, 2006 under Teleclasses. [ Comments: none ]

Many people enquire as to when they should take the Business Building Course. As ICA is very much based on flexible learning, our reply is whenever you feel inspired to take it! At the same time, we would like to share some thoughts that may be useful as you make your decision.

There are two sides to the coin here. Some people find it very beneficial to get a jump start on the business aspects of their coaching practice as soon as possible - giving priority to Business Building Coach as soon as they are comfortable with the Foundation Couch.

At the same time, others consider it important to have a solid understanding of coaching principles, looking first to build confidence and brainstorm ideas on how they intend to structure their business.

The bottom line is that whichever best meets your needs is the route for you! Whichever your decision, there are 3 scheduling options to choose from.

  • Check the ICA calendar and time zones to ensure you are in the right class at the right time
  • Dial back in and wait for the entire message to complete before dialing the access code
  • When dialing the access code, dial very deliberately - especially when the same number is repeated
  • If you are still alone on the line, send an email to support@icoachacademy.com
