On Tuesday, 16 January at 4pm New York time Cassandra Rae will join me to support you in your assessment requirements. This call will be held on bridgeline 605-772-3744, code 840099.
I will lead this interview-style teleclass where Cassandra will walk us through step-by-step instructions to help you create your own blog, answer your questions, and share her experience. Your presence, your contributions, and your questions bring so much value to our learning experience here at ICA. Please join us as we step into blogging!
Note: We understand that not everyone will be able to make it to this class due to time zone differences and scheduling conflicts, so we are recording the call. It will be available to listen to on the ICA website.
Here is Cassandra’s story about blogging~
“Blogging came to me at a time in my life when I was searching. I had no idea what I was looking for, but I knew whatever it was I didn’t have it and I wanted it. At the time, I was spending my workday holed up in a maze of plastic cubes. I felt nondescript and lonely. I began by questioning: how the heck am I going to escape this trap? Little did I know that blogging would be such a big part of how I would finally find my freedom.
You see, blogging isn’t about writing. Blogging is about opening up…seeing…and sharing. Maybe this is why blogging can be frightening: it’s more about your humanity than well groomed sentences, properly placed question marks, and grammatical perfection. Blogging can peel away the superfluous and expose who you are underneath.
And this is why it is such a valuable tool for coaches.
Sharing your thoughts and feelings is powerful. When you get through the barriers and into the heart of the matter, then you arrive at your niche. When you speak your truth, you are speaking to your ideal client. Is it exciting? Oh yeah! Is it scary? Yup! But is it worth it? You bet! And blogging can help you get to the heart of the matter, which is why I’m excited that ICA has introduced blogging as a graduation requirement. This is also why I have volunteered to share my experience and knowledge with you in ICA’s first blogging teleclass.”
