ICA Alumna Tracy Tuplin, is conducting graduate research on the value of coaching. Obtaining and negotiating access to participants for data collection is often a difficult part of the research process. The process must meet a double hurdle of high academic quality and high relevance to the user community for which it is written.
In order to address data credibility issues, the project seeks to gain participation from coaching recipients, through an organisation rather than through individual coaches. Envisioned possibilties include an organization that contracts workplace or executive coaching, or a coaching consortium with a significant clientele base receiving life or personal coaching. The organization must have a significant number of coaches that will respond to a volutary and anonymous online survey, about the value received through coaching services. This is a unique opportunity for the right organization(s) to evaluate their coaching program.
In addition, there may be some leeway for the research methodology to accommodate identified interests of the organization. Interested parties are invited to contact Tracy at ttuplin@tnhorizons.net with further information on their organization.
