The last books we read, “Think and Grow Rich” & “The Master Key System” were a success in part to the availability of a free PDF copy of the book. Once again, you are given a free PDF of this month’s book. Click here.
READING ASSIGNMENT: We will discuss the book in its entirety at our next meeting. All 22 pages….seriously, it is a quick read, but one that we can think about and talk about for at least an hour.
This will be the last book of 2007, so if you have been thinking of joining the club but have not…..this is your last chance until next year! Speaking of next year, if you have any suggestions for future books, send an email to, nickbosk@gmail.com
Happy reading!!
Mind is the Master power that moulds and makes,
And Man is Mind, and evermore he takes
The tool of Thought, and, shaping what he wills.
Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills:-
He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass:
Environment is but his looking-glass.
As A Man Thinketh is partly responsible for the creation of the entire personal development industry. Most contemporary PD authors and teachers credit this little book for providing foundation to their principles. It is a set of philisophical musings on the power of our thoughts.
What others say about As A Man Thinketh

“I read As A Man Thinketh once a year for over 15 years when I was in my 20s & 30s.” - Paul J. Mayer, recognized as one of the leading self-improvement authors of our time.
“Some books are so good and meaningful that you read them again and again. Primarily because you know the substance and content is so important that you need to be reminded of what it has to say. As A Man Thinketh by James Allen is just such a book” - Book review, Michigan Chronicle.
“Beyond the New Testament, the Old Testament and other books documenting the beliefs of the greatest religions of the world, there is one little book that impacted my life dramatically during my formative teenage years. The book is As A Man Thinketh, the most widely acclaimed…book written by James Allen, who might be likened to the Norman VincentPeale or Earl Nightingale of the late 1800’s.” - Denis Waitley, author of The Psychology of Winning, the best selling audio program in the world.
