Registrations for November Supervised Coach are now being taken and classes will commence the week beginning Monday, November 2.

Classes run for 6 weeks with students required to attend 2 sessions per week. Each Supervised Coach class is limited to 6 students and a minimum of 4 students is required for the class to go ahead. You will receive a confirmation of your registration once your preferred time option has received the necessary 4 registrations. If you are planning a March 2010 graduation please get in early and register now for November Supervised Coach.

How do I register?

To register for November Supervised Coach you must:

1. Refer to the Academic Calendar, November 2009 for available times.
2. Nominate 2 times options that are suitable for you.
3. Register now by clicking here

Due to unavoidable circumstances, the Balance Workshop did not take place on Tuesday as scheduled.  But thankfully we have been able to reschedule this event.  Prabha will now facilitate the Balance Workshop on Friday, September 25, 2009 @ 9pm NY ET.

As a participant you will learn to identify the indicators of being in Balance in life and will learn to create a framework to bring out the balance you need.

Balance - we all want it in our lives!

In some areas of the world, it is Autumn, a time for harvesting all the seeds we have planted.

Are you in balance?  Is it time to plant the seeds in your life or to harvest?  How do you know?  And as coaches, we talk a lot about balance with our clients.  Why is it so important?

Join us, during the week of September 21 - 26, 2009, for our upcoming Special Events Week, as we explore this question of balance - how it relates to self care, our perspectives, the different roles we play in life, ethics and much more.  Also, something new we hope to do more of in the future ar the “off-line” in person meetings scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2009, in Toronto, Canada and Northville, Michigan in the US.

Join the exciting world of our free Community Teleseminar Series!

ICA invites Alumni to participate in this exciting series by serving as a Production Assistant for a specific Community Teleseminar each month.  We are looking for one Assistant in each teleseminar area.  Check out http://icoachacademy.com for our latest topic areas.

These are volunteer positions.

This involves:

1. Pre-production responsibilities such as ensuring calls are recorded and bridge lines provided, managing schedule changes and call guest needs, providing research assistance for call host.
2. Production responsibities such as supporting hosts during the call with locating links and posting resources to topic forums when available, calling operator with call problems, and noting number of participants
3. Post production responsibilities such as editing and transcribing call audio (training & software provided), and making it available to participants.

We are looking for organized and enthusiastic individuals who can make a 6 - 12 month commitment.  If you are not sure you are a match please apply and we will let you know!

You will be compensated with greater involvement in the ICA community - working with our amazing teleseminar hosts and guests, supporting participants in areas of interest to you, and the unique and rewarding experience of bringing our free teleseminars to the world!

For the last 2 months now, we have had a get together for ICA students and alumni at the Beachcomber Cafe on St Kilda beach in Melbourne.

Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed the time to connect with each other and wishes to continue. Last time we had Robyn Logan, Anne Allardice, Alyson Woolfrey, Helen Omand, Dominique Wirz, Trudi Afford, Bec Fraser, Kate James and Mel Leow and we enjoyed a busy and enjoyable catch-up over a glass of wine.

Are you planning ahead to a March 2010 Graduation?

If you are then November and December will be the last two months you will be able to take Supervised Coach classes to complete your graduation requirements.

Due to the ICA Program Break from December 20, 2009 to January 10, 2010 there will be no Supervised Coach classes offered during the month of January.

Registrations for November Supervised Coach will be opening soon, once times and dates are finalised.

So please stay tuned!

We have made some changes to our program dates and updated the Academic Calendar in regards to the ICA Program Break.

There will no longer be a Mid Year break during the month of July but instead there will be a three week break, the last two weeks of December and the first week of January.

This year our break will begin Sunday December 20, 2009 through January 9, 2010 with classes resuming Sunday January 10, 2010.

We feel confident this schedule will better support our students with consistency and rhythm as we go forward.
