| October 27th, 2009 under Activities and Teleclasses, Day Light Saving. [ Comments: none ]
|
|
USA DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDS NOVEMBER 1 AT 2 AM
Daylight Savings Time will end in the US on November 1, and because the ICA Academic Calendar is based on NY EST, this change will affect the time students from many regions around the world attend classes.
** If you live in the US **
The times you attend teleclasses will not change. But make sure you turn your clock back an hour on November 1 for the end of US Daylight Saving.
** If you live outside the US **
The times you attend teleclasses will change. You will need to update your teleclass conversions as follows:
All students: Reconvert the time of your classes as of November 1 (until March 14, 2010 when daylight saving begins again in the US)
Some students: Reconvert the time of your classes again if your country starts or finishes daylight saving on a date other than November 1.
For a list of when countries start/finish Daylight Savings click here
To reconvert times, click here
If you have any queries, please email support@icoachacademy.com
And of course, don’t forget:
If you are finishing Daylight Saving you need to turn your clock back one hour.
If you are starting Daylight Saving you need to turn your clock forward one hour.

As many of you know, ICA is preparing to launch a whole new era in its mission to bring coaching to the world and Advance Human Awareness - AHA!
For those of you who may have joined us after our presentation back in June, we are undergoing a brand change, and our new name will be Lobii. At the end of 2009, we’ll be saying goodbye to ICA, this wonderful place where so many people have changed their lives and the lives of others.
Change is what coaches are all about - supporting it, helping to adapt to it, embracing it.
And so, as we begin this new journey with Lobii, we’d like to support all of you through the changes ahead. From now until we officially launch the new Lobii learnsite on New Year’s Day 2010, we’ll be keeping you up-to-date with the latest news on Lobii.
To get us started, we’ve created a special Forum in the Discussion Board, dedicated to all things Lobii, accessed via the ICA learnsite. There you can ask questions, consult our ongoing FAQ’s and learn more about how this all will affect you and your coach training at Lobii. This is a safe space for everyone to have an open dialogue and learn more about what Lobii holds in store for you.
So bring your curiosity and ideas, your openness and questions - join us on the discussion board in the new Lobii forum now and share your thoughts with our community!
