ICA Community Bulletin

With our last graduation for 2009 just a week away, we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate those students who have successfully completed their program and are about to graduate and join our wonderful alumni community. It is a very exciting time for everyone and celebrations are just around the corner.

On December 7, 77 students from 17 countries, will graduate from the CPC program and begin a new journey as certified coaches and ICA alumni. Each student has worked hard to achieve their success and we congratulate them all.

To provide the opportunity for all of our students, along with their family and friends, to celebrate this achievement we will be holding two graduation ceremonies. Students have been officially invited to attend one ceremony, but are more than welcome to join in the other celebration with their peers.

Earlier this week, our CEO, Browyn Bowery Ireland, invited our community to come along and listen the the exciting plans ahead in 2010 for ICA.

With the ICF Conference fast approaching, we would like to let our students and alumni know that ICA will be well represented, with many members of both our management and training team planning on attending this year.

As many of you would know, the ICF conference is taking place in Orlando, Florida this year, with all events being held within the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort, and ICA is planning a get together for all of our students and alumni attending the conference.  This is a great opportunity for you to come together with our staff, fellow students and alumni. 

The event will be held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort  and the venue is now confirmed and will take place in the Cat-Tails Pool Bar .

Due to low attendance of some of our CoP classes we have decided to discontinue some current classes.  We are however, planning to add new CoP classes soon so stay tuned. 

In addition there have been several changes to the times of a few classes and there will also be some change to the trainers of a few classes.  Full details of these changes are listed below.

Felecia Lauw is a graduate of ICA, an important member of our team here at ICA and a valued and much loved member of our community.   Unfortunately Felicia recently received some very sad news.  Whilst this is an extremely sad situation, we felt we had to share this with everyone within our community in the hope that there is someone who may be in a position to help.

Below is Felecia’s story:

To all our dearest family members, relatives, friends and stranger friends who would like to help out.

My husband, Darrell Lim Kiam Beng, aged 45 was recently diagnosed with a fatal liver illness, Hepatocellular Cancer.  Doctors have indicated a very short survival life span.  The only way out is through a Liver Transplant.  Darrell has been a loving soul and helpful friend, mentor and sales coach to all who have come to know him and worked with him.  Together we have a lovely 7 year old daughter, Joy.  It is Darrell’s utmost hope to see Joy grow up.  And it is our families goal to have a second chance to be a God serving family and bring glory to Him in whatever we do. We would like to welcome Kurt Stewart as the newest member to our training team. Whilst Kurt is new to the training team he is certainly not new to ICA.  Kurt is a graduate of ICA, and as our Community Manager has been a member of our team here, since July 2007.

Please join with us in welcoming Kurt to the virtual classrooms.

Our Academic Calendar has been updated to reflect these changes which become effective the week beginning November 23, 2009.

Registrations are currently being taken for December Supervised Coach, commencing the week of 7 December. There are still times available and they are listed on the Academic Calendar.

Registration for December Supervised Coach will close November 25,  so please register now !

There has been a change of day made to PT100 - Time Option 1, facilitated by Isabelle King.

Effective from the week of November 9 this class will move from Mondays 6am NY ET to Thursdays 6 am NY ET. Isabelle will continue to facilitate this class.

 New details are:

PT100 | Time Option 1 | Thursdays  6.00a-7.00a NY ET | Isabelle King

The Academic Calendar has been updated to reflect this change.

Registrations for December Supervised Coach are now being taken and classess will commence the week beginning Monday December 7.

Classes run for 6 weeks with students required to attend 2 sessions per week. Each Supervised Coach class is limited to 6 students and a minimum of 4 students is required for the class to go ahead. You will receive confirmation of your registration once your preferred time option has received the necessary 4 registrations. Please visit the Supervised Coach page via the learnsite for more details.

If you are planning a March 2010 graduation, December is the last month you will be able to take Supervised Coach classes to complete your graduation requirements.

2. Nominate 2 time options that are suitable for you.
