The Academic Calendar has now been updated to reflect the recent trainer changes to some of our classes.  In addition there are 2 Learning Level 4 time changes and one Learning Level 3 class will be discontinued. These changes become effective the week beginning, July 18, 2010.

The Academic Calendar has been updated to reflect the trainer changes to some teleclasses.  All teleclass times remain the same.  All changes are listed below. 

• Learning Level 1 - Wednesday, 9am - Ang Wahl (was Sheri Boone)
• Learning Level 2 - Wednesday, 6am - Leon VanderPol (was Claire Molinard)
• Learning Level 3 - Thursday, 6am - Michael Moniz (was Claire Molinard)

There have been some trainer changes made to a number of teleclasses which are reflected in the Academic Calendar. These changes become effective the week of 28 June, 2010.

The trainers who will take over the facilitation of Claire Molinard’s classes will be posted next week once the schedule is finalised. Please check back here for further updates.

At the end of the week, the following trainers will complete their work at ICA.

As we say goodbye, we thank each one for the great service to students and staff and we wish the all the best!

All of the class times will remain the same with the following exceptions:

• Family and Youth CoP will move from Wednesday 10am to Monday 6pm
• Executive CoP will move from Wednesday 10pm to Tuesday 8pm
• No more Executive CoP Wednesday 6am

 Effective the week of June 7, all of these changes will new trainer names will be reflected on the calendar.

Our current Learning Lab, facilitated by Kathy Munoz on Monday evenings at 9pm will conclude next week.  The final learning lab will be held on May 24 at 9pm NY ET.

Stay tuned for an exciting opportunity that will be offered very soon to replace the current Learning Lab.

We are very excited to announce the return of the Small Business CoP.  ICA trainer, Leon VanderPol will lead these classes twice a week, scheduled for Tuesday at 8am and Thursday at 8pm. 

These classes will commence the week of May 24.  For full details and schedule, please refer to the Academic Calendar.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind our student community of some important dates and events on our calendar for 2010.

Graduation is always an exciting time here at ICA.  It is a wonderful celebration of achievement shared by not only our graduating students, but their family, friends and peers alike.  These celebrations are open to our community, and with that in mind here are the dates for each graduation taking place this year.  Bridge line details for these events will be posted closer to the date.

In addition we would also like to remind our students, that as with last year, there will be NO Program break in July.  Our annual program break for this year will commence Monday, December 20, 2010, with classes recommencing, Monday, January 10, 2011.

The Coaching profession is always growing and expanding. ICA wants to stay ahead of the curve as well as continue to serve the needs of our current community and the world beyond.

We are inviting you to join the weekly Interest Groups that we will run for 4 weeks to help us create more resources for YOU. If you personally relate to the topic, have an interest in the topic or just want to join the fun, please feel free to attend one or more of our newly focused Interest Groups.

The first areas we will be focusing on are:

Gay and Lesbian Community - Facilitated by Michael Moniz (Tuesdays 9pm, 4 weeks beginning March 23)

Small Business Building - Facilitated by Bill Turpin  (Tuesdays 8pm, 4 weeks beginning March 23)

Social Responsibility Facilitated by Angela Bird  (Thursdays 7pm, 4 weeks beginning March 25)

Each group will meet on a weekly basis and we look forward to your creative ideas, insights and sharing. By your participation, you will be telling us what the community is looking for and giving us feedback on possible additions to our CoPs.  Students are invited to leave feedback on these classes via the Discussion Board, under ‘CoP: Weekly Interest Groups’.

ICA/Lobii are excited to announce the appointment of several new members to our training team.  We hope you will join with us in welcoming them into this wonderful community. These new trainers and classes have been reflected in the Academic Calendar.

Welcome:

Kate Wan, Sales CoP leader.  Kate’s first class will commence, March 18, Thursdays @ 7am NY ET

Leon VanderPol, LL3,  Leon’s first class will commence March 17, Wednesdays @ 10pm NY ET

Maria Gu, joins us as a new trainer in the Chinese Program.

There have been a number of changes made to the Academic Calendar.  Most of these updates are trainer changes to classes and the details can be found below.  In addition, a new calendar has been added for our Getting Connected calls.  These calls are for our new students to connect with ICA Trainer, Nick Bosk and ask any questions they may have.  Also, registration for March Supervised Coach is now open and the 5 new time options, with classes commencing the first week of March,  have also been added to the Academic Calendar.  Registration for Supervised Coach can be made via the Community Bulletin (see earlier post), or via the Learn site.

We will be taking a three week break from classes at ICA, beginning Sunday December 20, with classes resuming Sunday January 10, 2010.

We would like to welcome Kurt Stewart as the newest member to our training team. Whilst Kurt is new to the training team he is certainly not new to ICA.  Kurt is a graduate of ICA, and as our Community Manager has been a member of our team here, since July 2007.

Please join with us in welcoming Kurt to the virtual classrooms.

Kurt will be taking two of our Power Tool classes currently facilitated by Sherry Read, details as follows:

Our Academic Calendar has been updated to reflect these changes which become effective the week beginning November 23, 2009.

There has been a change of day made to PT100 - Time Option 1, facilitated by Isabelle King.

Effective from the week of November 9 this class will move from Mondays 6am NY ET to Thursdays 6 am NY ET. Isabelle will continue to facilitate this class.

The Academic Calendar has been updated to reflect this change.

Come along to a couple of new times for the Learning Labs and hear our trainers present the New Curriculum modules in the forum of a Learning Lab.  You will get the chance to be an audience for the trainers as they create the new classes.  It’s a peek behind the scenes at ICA/Lobii as we practice and prepare to roll out our new modules.  Your first opportunity to join one of these special labs is scheduled for this Thursday, 22 October @ 7pm NY ET.
