We are so excited to annouce our next graduations scheduled for September. Not only will we celebrate graduation from our English program, but will also celebrate with our first group of graduates from our Chinese program. This is a truly exciting time for all of our graduating students, and we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate each and every student who has successfully competed their program and are about to graduate and join our wonderful Alumni community. We are always amazed by how truly global our community is. Each year our community continues to grow, with students joined together from all parts of the world. Every ICA student from around the world has worked hard to acheive their success, and we congratulate them all.
To provide the opportunity for all of our students, along with family and friends, to celebrate this achievement we will be holding 3 graduation ceremonies. Students have been officially invited to attend one ceremony, but are more that welcome to join in the other celebrations with their peers. We also invite all members of our community to join the celebrations.
On 6 September we will celebrate along with 5 students from Taiwan and China, as they become our first graduates from within our Chinese CPCP Accredited Program. This is the only ICF accredited program offered in the Chinese language and we are so proud of our graduating students. Well done to you all.
On 13 September we will celebrate along with over 60 students from 20 countries, as they complete their English CPCP and ACCP programs with ICA. Well done to you all.
Details of the ceremonies are as follows: Read more »

ICA | CoP Updates |
| February 21st, 2010 under Uncategorized. [ Comments: none ]
|
|
We are always looking for creative ways to improve our CoP teleclasses - bringing new niches, leaders, and approaches while using our resources and talents efficiently. Toward that end, we are offering one Career CoP per week led by Joanne Waldman. We’d like to thank Anouschka van den Bosch for her wonderful leadership in our Career CoP teleclasses and we look forward to engaging both her enthusiasm and expertise in the near future. Anouschka’s last class will be on Thursday Feb 25.
We also are changing the Sales CoP to better reflect the intention of this series which is to support those students with an interest in the Sales Coach niche. We recognize Mike Francis for his amazing and generous support of our students and look forward to partnering with him as we launch the Lobii site. Mike’s last class will be March 8.
Finally, we will be bringing back the Small Business CoP so stay tuned for more information!

Balance Week | Special Free Event | Sept 21 - 26 |

Balance - we all want it in our lives!
In some areas of the world, it is Autumn, a time for harvesting all the seeds we have planted.
Are you in balance? Is it time to plant the seeds in your life or to harvest? How do you know? And as coaches, we talk a lot about balance with our clients. Why is it so important?
Join us, during the week of September 21 - 26, 2009, for our upcoming Special Events Week, as we explore this question of balance - how it relates to self care, our perspectives, the different roles we play in life, ethics and much more. Also, something new we hope to do more of in the future ar the “off-line” in person meetings scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2009, in Toronto, Canada and Northville, Michigan in the US.
These are open to all of our students, graduates and staff, so have a look at our schedule of events below and join in. Read more »

Would you like to be a student buddy? |
| July 27th, 2009 under Uncategorized. [ Comments: 1 ]
|
|
Student buddies are highly valued members of the ICA student community, who generously donate their time in assisting new students with finding their way within and around the ICA community. As students that have been with ICA for some time would know, this can sometimes be a little daunting to begin with. Being a buddy could involve sharing first hand experiences, or assisting new students to connect with their online community.
Whilst being a buddy does involve a time commitment, it is very flexible and should only involve a few hours a month. Students wishing to become a part of our wonderful buddy team, should be familiar with the ICA environment, and be willing to support new students.
We are interested in buddies from all parts of our global community but are particularly looking for students from Asia, US, Canada and South America. If you would like to become a buddy or if you would like to learn more about becoming a buddy, please contact Jamee Tenzer, at jamee.tenzer@icoachacademy.com
